Today I saw a musical with my intern group people. We saw "Kingdom" and ohdaaang it was good. It was about gangs and conflict and hardknock life and it was good stuff. It was kind of emotionally exhausting though. I was able to sit in the front row with my friend after originally sitting four rows from the back. It was an amazing theater though, (at a high school shootmeinthefacenowplease, our theater is a room with a stage) so sitting in the back wouldn't have been horrible. Anyways, a very nice man in a white blazer told our section we should go fill in the first couple of rows if we wanted to, because they weren't going to get filled up.

I had liked that very nice man in the white blazer ever since I first saw him. He done me well.

Afterwards there was a sort of panel with the cast, writer, directors, and composer. I liked them.
Fun fun.

I WILL LET YOU KNOW AFTER I SEE THEM FROM THE THIRD ROW IN MAY!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving was good. I don't like turkey so its usually a mediocre holiday, but I love me some mashed potaters. My sister and I went down to the beach before because it was raining and we thought it would be bitchin if it was raining at the beach. It stopped raining and everything pretty much dried up on our way there, so we were kinda bummed ironically enough. But the beach turned out gorgeous and we went in the water fully clothed up to about our waists. The only thing stopping us from diving in was the fact that we weren't sure if we would totally ruin her car's seats by getting in completely wet.

Mariokart for wii is still like the bestestestestest in the westest. A friend and I are both hooked up to wifi so we play together against people from around the world into the wee hours of the night. That's right world, ~Mariokart~ connecting people eight geeks at a time. Speaking of which I saw a play rendition of George Orwell's 1984 and it was super good. A+. Good job.

I have a few things to say about life and the world and all the things that anyone could possibley have a few things to say about. I haven't updated in a while, so here we are. I promise I'll update more often! I just get busy. We all do. Blaah. Anyways, I'm trying to find a theme song for my life. Its part of an assignment for this kickass internship I'm doing with a local theater. I'll explain another time, maybe not a Thursday. It's so difficult to find a theme song! At least for me it is, because I'm not depressed, I don't have relationship problems, and with most of the songs I'm in love with I have no clue what the words are trying to say, and I don't care to know. So alas, I'm having problems picking a song.
Hell yeah, I just used alas- even sort of properly. I'm totally Dumbledore.

-The play is going well. I guess. As well as it can go anyways. It is such a boring play. Rehearsal and such is fun, but dear god. Everyone in the audience is gonna shoot themself in the face. I'm so sorry audience.
-I read an article about Bush talking about things he regretted. Not interesting, stupid, feggedaboutit, BUT at the end I noticed it said he was considering writing a book, so the public could know the thoughts behind and how it felt making some of the decisions he was faced with. Maybe one of his speechwriters will end up writing him a top notch book, filled with tons of lovely BS.
-Speaking of which: OBAMAAAA! :D
-I watched Moulin Rouge for the first time! Good good good. Reminded me a lot of Pushing Daisies styllistically.I want the soundtrack but my amiga is going to get it for christmas and I figure I might as well wait and rip it on to my computer. I'm not feeling particularly impatient.
-Is it bad that I'm already ready for Winter break? :]

This is actually one of the things on my 101 things in 1001 days list.

72. Create a holiday and celebrate it annually (or however often it occurs ;]) with your friends.

We created Flamingo Day! We even googled to make sure it didn't exist yet. Haha, though there is a Pink Flamingo Day, it is very different from Flamingo Day. Plus its in June- which was way too far away for us to wait for.
In fact Flamingo Day is this Friday. I'm glad this reminded me. :]

On Flamingo day you have to:
a) Wear Pink
b) Wear anything that has to do with flamingos
c) "HAPPY FLAMINGO DAY" to everyone you know. Basically it should replace any other form of greeting. None of this "Hey" or "Hello" nonsense.
d) Eat shrimp

Or at least you have to try and do all that. :]
But wait! There's more! Flamingo Day is not just one day! Oh no, that is ridiculous. Flamingo day is 2 days.

On Flamingo Day 2 you must:
a) Go to the zoo and see the flamingos
b) Buy flamingo stuff at the zoo so you're properly prepared when the next day comes around

But we probably won't be able to go on Saturday because the Zoo is expensive and Saturday is super busy for all my friends. But my friends birthday party is then, so we can celebrate birth/flamingos together! They go hand in hand, really.


So remember,

I would live on Catalina. I would build a playhouse and put on plays and other performances and stuff. I would start a newspaper or magazine and walk around Avalon passing them out. :] It would talk about random people I see, and things going on at my theater. Eventually I would have featured everyone in Catalina in my newspaper/magazinething! It would be great. I'd have a golf cart specially designed for me. There would be a bakery connected to my theater, that I would occasionally make brownies and cakes for, and everybody would be so happy on those days! They would be special bakery days that everyone would wait for all year.
And if anyone else wants to use my bakery while I'm not having a special day, they can. And anyone can arrange to use my theater for free too.

I would take vacations to all the places I want to visit!
I would also buy thousands of Barbies and design their hair.
In my house would be a couple of plain white rooms with nothing in them, where I would paint anything I wanted on the walls.

Anyways, I'm making doughnut holes later! I'll take a picture and show you how they turn out. =] I'll also show you my Mom's Birthday Cake. It's not as ProjectRunwayesce as my sister's cake, but it's nice.

I'm happy.

It finally rained today, and I am talking about hardcore windy pelting rain. It was determined droplets pounding themselves onto the windshield. It was fabulous. I got a role as an extra in the drama kids' one-act play. I'm good with it because there were only like 8 parts all together, and some friends are going to work on crew. Only thing is I won't be hanging out with them much, because after I fulfill my on stage extra-ness, I'll be in the audience with my "Mom" and "Dad" reacting and such. It's alright. I actually think the production will turn out good, so yay. :]

School newspaper went out today, I was carrying mine in my hands while waiting in the rain. The newspaper was all wet and smelly. It was very poetic.
